Forgings – heavy machining
We are experts in heavy cutting. Our offer includes milling machines and lathes prepared for heavy machining of raw forgings using an ISO 60 tool tapers.
Roughing milling machines – FB series
- torque up to 6900 Nm
- spindle power up to 92 kW
- simultaneous operation of two spindles (two vertical or one vertical + one horizontal)
- efficient machining of two planes at the same time (top and side)
Options and add-ons:
- dedicated DTI angle heads > 5000 Nm
- automatic vertical and horizontal tool magazines
- head magazines, workpiece clamping systems, movable crossbeam, rotary table
- gantry version and custom-tailored configurations
Example: U.S. customer – gantry milling machine with 0.6 MW total installed power and 48,000 Nm spindle torque.
Turning – heavy-duty horizontal TV lathes
Our heavy-duty horizontal lathes enable:- turning of shafts up to 150 tons
- between-centers load capacity up to 100 tons without steady rests
- spindle power up to 300 kW
- torque up to 340,000 Nm
- maximum turning diameter 3000 mm, bed swing 3400 mm, workpiece length up to 33 m
- various types of manual and CNC steady rests
- CNC steady rests with lifting system for precise loading
