5-Axis Horizontal Machining Centers 5HMC

For machining carbon and carbon-graphite blast furnace linings, we offer a specially designed family of horizontal machining centers with a swiveling 5HMC headstock.

 

The combination of three linear axes (table travel X, column travel Z, spindle head travel Y) and two rotary axes
(spindle head swivel A, table rotation B) enables machining of complex geometries, including tap holes and discharge openings.
